What is advocacy?

This course provides an overview of what advocacy is. It looks at definitions, values, types of advocacy, what an advocate does, provides advice about advocating and teaches you about its importance. It is interactive, including quizzes, videos, reflection prompts and additional resources. This course might be helpful to anyone who works with or refers to advocacy organisations, want to improve their advocacy skills, or simply wants to learn more about it. The course is completely free and you will be provided with a diploma once you have completed it.
